Services
My experience as an occupational therapist has taught me the importance of identifying an individual’s needs and building upon their strengths to help them gain independence. To better understand the individual's needs, Camcare uses a variety of assessments and evaluations to establish the best plan of care. This approach allows for carefully selected interventions based on the child's specific needs. We offer individualized therapy sessions that can be provided at home and in the community.
EVALUATIONS & TREATMENT PLANS
CamCare takes a comprehensive approach to identifying underlying issues such as fine motor skills, developmental delays, and sensory processing concerns through thorough evaluation. Subsequently, an individualized treatment plan will be developed, based on each child's specific needs and goals.
These plans are carefully tailored to address the unique challenges and requirements of each child, ensuring a personalized and effective intervention strategy. The therapy sessions are specifically designed to target the child’s needs. Through this holistic approach, Camcare aims to support the overall development and well-being of each child. Treatment can be provided in the home, in the community, or in an environment best suited to help the child practice their skills.
CONSULTATION
The consultation process provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's care, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the child's strengths and challenges. Through this collaborative effort, I can offer tailored recommendations and strategies to integrate therapeutic principles into the child's daily life, both at home and in educational settings. This proactive approach not only supports the child's immediate needs but also empowers parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge necessary to facilitate ongoing progress and development.
TRAINING & SUPPORT
CamCare offers guidance and education to parents, caregivers, and educators on effective strategies to promote a child's development. This is achieved by collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive environment for children with developmental challenges, and by offering training on classroom modifications and accommodations. Life skills and activities of daily living are also common areas where support can be provided. The goal is to empower parents, caregivers, and educators with the knowledge and tools necessary to facilitate the child's progress and enhance their overall quality of life.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a 'Good Faith Estimate' explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Request that your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
